An American actor, born in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He attended Brooklyn High School, and then started acting when he was in college. He later obtained a master's degree in French and a doctorate in theater. He was a broadcaster on WCAO in 1931, then worked on WTAM in 1932, and also participated in stage productions. He's known for The Loves of Carmen, Reign of Terror, and The 27th Day. He died on December 15, 1989.
