An American actor, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, on March 10, 1911. He got married four times and had only one child. He left the Culver Military Academy when he was 16, married Virginia Bell Hiller, a physician's daughter, and worked as a reporter. During WWII, he worked as a flying instructor in the United States Army Air Forces. Norris debuted in Queen Christina (1933), then he contracted with MGM, who trained him to start performing romantic roles. He is best known for Decoy (1946), Man with Two Lives (1942), Jungle Queen (1945), and End of the Road (1944). He died in Fort Bragg, California, USA, on December 18, 2002.
