British actress, born in Birmingham, England, United Kingdom. She and her spouse relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, after leaving England in 1929. Comedy was their specialty throughout the Depression, and they co-owned the Empress Theater until 1933. They eventually left Vancouver and moved to Hollywood. She appeared in films such as Andy Hardy Gets Spring Fever (1939), Samson and Delilah (1949), Andy Hardy's Double Life (1942), and Whispering Smith (1948). She died on June 23, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
