An American actor, born in Hartford, Connecticut, USA, on August 2, 1915. He is best known for All About Eve (1950), Mysterious Island (1961), and The Woman Who Wouldn't Die (1965). Gary was a film and television actor who made more than fifty films and a number of TV series. He attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and began his real film career in films such as Twelve O'Clock High (1949). He died in Falmouth, Maine, USA, on March 5, 1990, of lung cancer.
