An American actor, born on October 9, 1914, in Griffin, Georgia, United States. He began to be active in theater as a child and entered the cinematic field in 1936. He soon gained prominence for his roles in films in the 1950s, such as The Harder They Fall (1956), These Wilder Years (1956), Tea and Sympathy (1956), and The Unguarded Moment (1956). He died at the age of 70 of a heart attack.
