An English-American television actress, born on February 28, 1939 in Stockport, England. Her father was the actor Owen McGiveney. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, moved to Hollywood, and participated in the 1959 film North by Northwest. She received a Golden Globe nomination from the Foreign Press Association in Hollywood as a promising newcomer of 1966. Her films include: Do Not Disturb (1965), Once You Kiss a Stranger (1969) and Twist Around the Clock (1961). She died on November 10, 1990 in Sherman Oaks, California.
