An American actress, born in New York City, on February 10, 1936, into an artistic family. Her mother was a former showgirl on Broadway and a veteran of the Ziegfield Follies, while her father was a comedic theatrical talent scout. She worked on television, where she presented 27 television series, in addition to 15 films in 13 years. She performed her last role in 1969. Among her most notable works are I Married a Monster From Outer Space (1958), Bells Are Ringing (1960), Philip Marlowe (1960), and What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice? (1969). She died in Woodland Hills, California, on June 18, 2013, of cancer.
