An American actor, born on February 10, 1910 in Princeton, United States. He appeared in the late thirties. In 1948, he landed smaller roles in several films, after which he became famous for The Thing from Another World (1951), Shane (1953), and This Island Earth (1955). He died on October 6, 1960 in Los Angeles in the United States of diabetes.
