An American child actor, born in Los Angeles, California, on May 3, 1946. At an early age, George Winslow worked on a family radio show, after which he appeared with star Cary Grant in the movies Room for One More (1952) and Monkey Business (1952). Fox bought his contract and presented him in Mister Scoutmaster (1953) and Artists and Models (1955). His last movie was Wild Heritage (1958). He also participated in television productions, such as The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1952), Dear Phoebe (1954) and Blondie (1957). With age, as it happens to many child actors, George Winslow was unable to make the transition into an adult actor. After high school, he joined Lewis & Clark College and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, then returned to California, where he worked in the postal service until he retired. Among his most notable works are Monkey Business (1952), My Pal Gus (1952), Room for One More (1952), and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953). He died of a heart attack in Sonoma, California, on June 13, 2015.
