A British actor, born on January 6, 1903, in London, England, UK. He befriended Agatha Christie after he starred in two of her plays as Detective Hercule Poirot. He studied at Stonyhurst College, a Jesuit public school in England. He's known for Night and the City (1950), Oliver Twist (1948), 21 Days Together (1940), and Great Expectations (1946). He died on 19 November 1956 in New York City, New York, USA.
