An American actor, born on October 25, 1928 in New York, United States. He began his career in 1955. He is a Golden Globe Award winner for Best Actor - Drama in Career (1959), and his career spanned more than 51 years. He is best known for Tenebre (1982), The Long, Hot Summer (1958), and Death Wish II (1982). He died on January 19, 2006 in Los Angeles.
