An Italian director and writer, born in the Italian city of Palermo. He worked as an assistant to director Franco Zeffirelli in the movie Tea with Mussolini in 1999, then he worked as an assistant in the movie One Hundred Steps in 2000. In the same year, he participated in a training course in media. His first feature film The Mafia Kills Only in Summer in 2013 won the Audience Award at the Torino Film Festival.
