English singer and actor, born on March 5, 1953 in Taplow, England. He was born to a Scottish drummer father and a French accordionist mother. He started playing classical music on the piano at the age of five. At the age of fifteen, he studied guitar and two years later became the organist of the local rock band Lover's Love. The band released four singles, one of which "Youth Has Gone" (Amour De Papier). He began working on films and became the official composer for Daniel Costelle and several historical documentaries such as La Victoire en Couleurs, which was nominated for an Emmy in 1995 for Best Foreign Film.
