Mary Jane Blige was born on January 11, 1971, in the Bronx, New York. She has millions of fans of her music, but before she became a successful hip-hop singer, she had a terrible childhood marred by violence, alcohol and drugs. Bilge was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for Mudbound (2017). Her third album, in 1997, entitled Share My World, reached number one on the Billboard albums chart. In 2001, she released an album titled, No More Drama. This album featured her most popular hit, Family Affair, which was one of the most popular songs of the decade. Also, Bilge is a three-time Grammy Award winner and is nicknamed "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul", as her albums since 1992 have sold more than 40 million copies.
