An Indian director, born in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He studied zoology and law and worked as a lawyer before turning to the film industry. He and his friends founded a film society in 2001 to finance their independent films. He directed three short films and a feature film during that period, including Six Feet High (2014), for which he won the Best Director award at the Kerala Film Awards and the FIPRESCI Prize. In 2015, he directed his second feature film Sunday Holiday, which won the Best Film award at the Kerala Film Awards and the FIPRESCI Prize for Best Malayalam Film.
