He is a director and writer, born in 1980, in Silkeborg, Denmark. He graduated from the National Film School of Denmark as a fiction film director in 2009. Andreas Dalsgaard has been directing documentaries for nearly a decade and has written and directed films for cinema and theatre productions. His films have been shown at more than two hundred festivals worldwide and have won awards. He co-founded the Elk Film production company.
