A Brazilian writer and director, born in Goiânia, Brazil. He began his career in cinema as an assistant director to Ruy Guerra, winner of the Silver Bear twice at the Berlin International Film Festival. He graduated from the International School of Cinema and Television in Cuba....Read more He has directed several short and medium-length films that have won awards at international festivals. He also wrote The Minor, which had its world premiere at the San Sebastián International Film Festival and won Best Film at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival in 2013. His film The Illusion won Best Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2009, and The Erin Sisters is his first feature film.
