He is an Italian writer and director, born in 1977 in Milan, Italy. He studied in Milan and later moved to France. 37°4 S (2013), Banat: The Journey (2015), and Da lontano (2007) are some of his credits. He received a David di Donatello Award for "Best Short Film" for 37°4 S (2013), and his film Banat: The Journey received an International Critics' Week Award at the Venice Film Festival.
