She has earned over 35 director, producer, writer, and script supervisor credits on feature films and documentaries. Her films have been screened and broadcast all over the world. When she was young in New York, she made super-8 films and co-founded a community theater. She runs a successful production services business in Berlin. Prior to working in the film industry, she served the United Nations as an aid worker and researcher for seven years, stationed in Mali, Sierra Leone, Switzerland, Geneva, and New York. She is known for Stiff (2017), Facing the Dead (2005), and Poet on the Frontline (2015). She won several awards at numerous international film festivals, such as the CINE Golden Eagle at the CINE Competition and the Golden Gate Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival.
