An Italian film director and screenwriter. He directed 40 films between 1954 and 2012, He was born on December 29, 1927 in Paris, Ile-de-France. He got trained by collaborating on low-cost cassette films that provided him with the basis to start directing on his own since the early fifties. He is known for The Archangel (1969), Bread, Butter and Jam (1977), Go On You Who Laughs At Me (1982), and Heroic Mission and Firefighters 2 (1987). He died on 25 March 2017 at the Bilkol Hospital in Viterbo at the age of 89
