An Iraqi writer, producer, and director, born in Baghdad in 1979. He studied cinema at the Baghdad College of Fine Arts and the Collège Agnès Varda. He worked as a documentary film director, and he also worked as an assistant director and cinematographer. He is known for Captivity (2017).
