He is a Lebanese writer and director born in Beirut in 1977. He is one of the founders and editors of "Samandal" magazine, which is considered one of the first comics magazines in the Middle East, and "Beirut Animated", which is the Lebanese festival for animation films run by Metropolis. He is known for Manivelle: The Last Days of the Man of Tomorrow (2017), Capernaum (2018), and 1982 (2019).
