An Iraqi actress, born in Baghdad. She left Iraq in 2003 to live in Syria and then immigrated to Beirut, Lebanon. Due to living in these three countries, she was able to master three Arabic dialects: Iraqi, Lebanese, and Syrian, in addition to the Palestinian dialect. She started her work in the media at the age of seventeen. Zahraa worked as an actor in addition to her work as a documentary filmmaker, which made her one of the most prominent figures in the emerging Iraqi film industry. She appeared in The Journey (2017), The Red Zone (2021), Log Out (2021), and Baghdad in My Shadow (2019).
