A Lebanese director, actress, and social and political activist who graduated from the Lebanese American University in Beirut. She obtained a master’s degree in film directing at the University of California, Los Angeles. She participated in the plays “Stay Negative” and “Vanishing State" and in acting workshops organized at the city theater. Her first film, “I Offered You Pleasure,” screened in international film festivals, including the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival and the Busan International Film Festival, but it was prevented from being shown in Lebanon. Farah was one of the founders of the “You Stink” movement, which has been fighting corruption and leading civil society demonstrations in Lebanon since 2015. In 2016, Farah received a scholarship from the Hani Farsi Foundation to pursue a master’s degree in directing at the University of California, Los Angeles.
