Japanese director and screenwriter born on 27 September 1961 in Fukushima, Japan. He rose to fame in the anime industry. His works include Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part III: The Rebellion Story, Monogatari Series: Second Season, and Kizumonogatari Part 1: Tekketsu.
