He is an American actor, born on March 31, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, United States. He studied at Northwestern University, began his career in 1950, and is an Emmy Award winner. He is best known for The Graduate (1967), Two for the Road (1967), Oh, God! (1977), The Blue Lagoon (1980), and Blades of Glory (2007).
