An American actress and singer, born on June 6, 1929 in Florida, United States. She grew up in Tampa in 1937, and at the age of eight, she began taking music lessons with Frank Grasso and became a singer for a local radio station during the early months of World War II, singing at a number of events in Tampa to raise money for the British War. She is best known for Variety Girl (1947), Tales of Robin Hood (1951), and Our Hearts Were Growing Up (1946). She died on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Riverside Hospital in California after a long battle with cancer.
