A British actor, born in London, Middlesex, England, UK, on April 25, 1885, as Charles Warwick Evans. His notable work includes Demetrius and the Gladiators (1954) and Cyborg 2087 (1966). A prolific actor, Charles Evans worked in the USA in cinema and on television in numerous supporting roles. He portrayed two biblical characters in his career; the first was King Xerxes in the film Queen Esther (1948), and the second was Manoah, Samson's father, in the film Samson and Delilah (1949). Charles Evans died at the age of 88 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on March 2, 1974.
