An American actor, born on January 31, 1894 in New York in the United States. He was one of the most famous faces and voices in Hollywood films in the 1950s. Helton served in the US Army in Europe during World War I. His films include Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Criss Cross (1949), The Set-Up (1949), Kiss Me Deadly (1955), Butch Cassidy, and Sundance Kid (1969). He died on September 11, 1971 in Hollywood in the United States.
