An American director and writer, born in Providence, Rhode Island. Her father is Professor Barry S. Fogel, who founded the American Neuropsychiatric Association, and her mother, Margaret Selkin Fogel, is a psychologist. In 2002, she graduated from Columbia University. She was a writer for its 2001 Varsity Show in Colombia. Her classmates included the television writer and producer Lang Fisher. She is known for Booksmart (2019), The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018), and The Flight Attendant (2020).
