An American actress, born in West Orange, New Jersey, USA, on June 1, 1922. Joan Caulfield received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. Caulfield was married to producer, actor, and writer Frank Ross (1950-1960), with whom she had a child before divorcing, after which she married Dr. Robert Peterson (1960-1966), with whom she had a child. George Abbott gave her the opportunity to stand on Broadway theaters, and a year later, she signed a movie contract with Paramount Company. Among her most important work: The Unsuspected (1947), Dear Ruth (1947), The Sainted Sisters (1948), and Monsieur Beaucaire (1946). She died in Los Angeles, California, USA on June 18, 1991, of lung cancer.
