An American television actress, born in Paducah, Kentucky, USA, on December 10, 1925. Jean Byron's most important work include Serpent of the Nile (1953), Invisible Invaders (1959), Pucker Up and Bark Like a Dog (1989), and Police Woman (1974-1976). She became a singer on local radio in Kentucky and was trained in the local theater until she signed a contract with Columbia Pictures. She presented several series that brought her fame. She moved to live in Alabama until she passed away on February 3, 2006, after an operation.
