An American actor, born on February 11, 1920 in Queens. He began his career in 1931. His career spanned more than 45 years. His most important works include the 1937 movie Dead End, Angels with Dirty Faces (1938), They Made Me a Criminal (1939) and Crime School (1938). He died on November 9, 1976 in Brentwood, California.
