Robert Arthur was an American Actor, born on June 18, 1925 in Aberdeen. He graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1943. He won a high school radio announcing competition and then became a professional broadcaster. Also, he recorded popular music before embarking on his career as a film actor. He attended the University of Washington. He is best known for acting in the war film Twelve O'Clock High (1949), Ace in the Hole (1951), and Mother Wore Tights (1947). Arthur died on October 1, 2008 in Aberdeen, Washington.
