An American actor who was born on April 19, 1930, in Carmel-by-the-C in the United States. He studied at San Rafael Military Academy in Menlo Park, California, before majoring in drama at Stanford University. His debut was in the film Prisoner of War (1945), starring Ronald Reagan. He acted in the feature film Operation Petticoat (1959), and is famous for acting in Gunsmoke (1955), Wagon Train (1957), and I Dream of Jeannie (1965). He co-starred in the series One Happy Family (1961). He passed away on July 8, 1994 in Los Angeles, California, of prostate cancer.
