An Austrian dancer and actress, born in Vienna, as Ottilie Ethel Losch. She married twice, and both marriages ended in divorce. Among her most important works are The Garden of Allah (1936), The Good Earth (1937), Backstage (1937), and Duel in the Sun (1946). At the age of six, Tilly Losch joined the ballet school at the Imperial Opera House in Vienna in 1909, and at the age of 15, she became a member of the Imperial Ballet Team. She excelled in dancing the waltz, which was for the aristocratic, to show her talent. She moved to Hollywood in the early thirties, met the performance artist Fred Astaire, participated in his dance performances, and participated in American films as a dancer and actress. She died on December 24, 1975, in New York City, New York, United States of America, from cancer.
