An American actress who was born in Dallas, Texas, on February 1, 1926. Nancy Gates began her artistic career at the age of 15 when and she signed a contract with RKO studio in 1942. Her first film was Hitler's Children (1943). She continued to present films and television series until the end of the sixties, when she stopped for the sake of her family. She is famous for her roles in: World Without End (1956), Suddenly (1954), and The Member of the Wedding (1952).
