An African-American producer and director, born in Long Island, New York, USA. He graduated from Hamilton College in New York in 1994. He's known for Strong Island (2017) and Trial by Media ( 2020). He also became the first nominee ever to win the Cinema Eye Honors for Best Director, Best Debut, and Best Feature.
