An Indian screenwriter, director, and actor. He began his career in 1984 and continued for more than three decades. His most notable films include Daud (1997), Hera Pheri (2000), Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar (2000), and Golmaal (2006). He also co-wrote several films and starred in Welcome Back (2015), which was his last film.
