An English actress, born in Stepney, London. She went to Saint Nicholas School at Old Harlow in Essex, and Forest School, Walthamstow. She received acting lessons from the age of 12. Upon finishing school, she attended the University of Cambridge. She made her acting debut in 1994. Her works include: Last Tango in Halifax (2012), River (2015), Unforgotten (2015), and The Split (2018).
