An American Actress who was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 9, 1928 and died in Newtown, Pennsylvania, on April 25, 2013. Virginia Gibson never married or had children. She was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1957, and won a Bronze Wrangler for Factual Television Program at the Western Heritage Awards in 1967 for the TV series Discovery. Virginia Gibson began her career working with chorus girls in the local St. Louis Opera, focusing her work on theater and television rather than film.
