A British actor, born in Middlesex, England, UK. He started acting in the late forties, and had the great opportunity to star in the movie Oliver! (1968), for which he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Leading Actor. Among his works are: Summer Holiday (1963) and Murder Most Foul (1964). He died on June 11, 2015 in London, at the age of 91.
