An American actor who was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 31, 1874 and died in Los Angeles, California, on November 25, 1964 of a stroke. Clarence Kolb is best known for his roles in: Merrily We Live (1938), His Girl Friday (1949), and Impact (1949). Clarence Kolb began his career by participating in vaudeville shows, and presented several short films in 1916 and 1917, but he returned again to vaudeville shows and theatrical work, and did not return to cinema until the end of the thirties. Clarence Kolb was distinguished by the roles of important businessmen and politicians, for the nature of his appearance, his sharp and resolute voice, and his silent, fiery look.
