He is a Tunisian musician. He studied music at the Grombalia Secondary School and at the Higher Institute of Music in Tunis, and in 1993 he opened a private music institute bearing his name in the center of the capital. He became famous for composing several successful songs, such as "Whisper of the Wave" and "People Don't Blame My Heart". He also worked for a period in the Arab band of Tunis under the supervision of Mohamed Garfi, and in 2001 he was assigned to head the Festival De La Chanson Tunisienne. His brother Omar Sahbu also appeared in his family as director of LeMaghreb newspaper.
