Akin Gazi is a British actor and author, born in 1981 in North London. He studied English and Drama at Queen Mary University of London and graduated in 2003. He married human rights activist Faiza Shaheen. He debuted with his role in An Eye for a Tooth, and is best known for the movies Black Gold, Zero Dark Thirty, and The Cut.
