An Italian-American actor and racing driver, who was a world champion in motor racing and was for a time one of only two drivers to win both the Formula One and World Sportscar Championships, the other being Dan Gurney. He also won races in midget cars and sprint cars. During his career, he won the Formula One World Championship and has appeared in several artistic works.
