Sudanese director and actor born in Affat, Northern, Sudan in 1949. He began his life as a simple factory worker, and his finger was amputated in 1962. He graduated from the Music Institute at the Sudan University for Science and Technology in 1982, and earned a MFA from Cairo University in 2000 and a PhD from Sudan University in 2008. His works include the series Road of Danger and Dakeen. He died of COVID-19 on 1 January 2021.
