An American actor, born May 9, 1895 in New York. His father died when he was one year old. Through his mother, he was raised in the theatre, and was educated at Hudson River Military Academy in Nyack. He studied at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He did some college acting and other amateur productions. He began his career in 1916. Among his works is The Dawn Patrol. His career spanned more than 26 years He participated in many films such as The Spoilers. He died on August 17, 1963 in Southampton, New York, USA.
