An American actress, who was born on September 17, 1902 in Bar Harbor, Maine. She began her career as a child actress in vaudeville. She broke into silent films and became one of the highest-paid silent stars for dozens of dramas and comedies such as Peter Pan (1924), and The Kiss Cinderella (1925). She appeared in nearly 100 films over a period of nearly 30 years. Her last leading role was in The To Last Man (1933). She died on January 14, 1994 Vivi Ventura, California, of a heart attack.
