An Australian actress, born in Melbourne, Australia. She grew up in a middle-class Catholic family. She attended Sacré Cœur School, then studied arts and law at the University of Melbourne. She started performing at the university theater. She began her career in the mid-eighties, as she served as an actress and writer in several series. Among her works are Fisk, Dogstar: Christmas in Space, and The Newsreader.
